  • results in a focal length range of 3.6 to 10.7 mm in combination with a Hyperion Zoom eyepiece

Hyperion Zoom Barlow lens - 2.25x
The Baader Hyperion Zoom Barlow lens was specially designed for the Hyperion Zoom Mark eyepieces. By adapting the Barlow lens, the normal focal length range of 8 - 24 mm of the ClickStop Zoom results in a focal length range of 3.6 to 10.5 mm with excellent imaging performance for high-resolution solar, lunar, planetary and double star observation.

Thus, the Hyperion Barlow together with the ClickStop Zoom eyepiece covers the wide focal length range from 3.6 to 24 mm!

Like all Baader in-house developments, the Hyperion Zoom Barlow is also designed for the widest possible range of applications.

It can be simply and easily screwed into any Baader Planetarium Hyperion 8-24 mm zoom. The focus is fully maintained on the axis and in the field, and you can choose between the 1¼" or 2" connection dimension. The image on the right shows the ClickStop Zoom eyepiece together with the Hyperion Barlow, on the left with the 1¼" and on the right with the 2" connection.

Using the T2 adapter supplied, it can also be used with all accessories that use T2 threads. For example, it can be combined with an SLR camera (you need an optionally available T-adapter for the camera) or used with an optionally available eyepiece adapter with astronomical eyepieces.

The scope of delivery also includes an adapter to T2 thread. This allows the Barlow to be used on a wide range of accessories - for example on a DSLR with T-ring.
