No other DSLR microphone has ever been able to use a true boom pole shock mount.

V-MIC D3 PRO - The world's first
The world's first on-camera video microphone with adjustable gain control.
The D3 Pro was selected from all exhibitors at Cine Gear 2018 to receive the PV Award for Product of the Year.

Features:
Compatible with cameras and mobile devices
Internal rechargeable battery with 51 hours runtime
Stepless gain control, low-cut filter
Automatically configurable 3.5 mm TRRS output
Power switch with LED and automatic on/off
Low noise and low distortion, high SNR
Detachable shoe/pole/tripod mount

Plug-and-play
The D3 Pro works with cell phones, tablets, DSLRs, bodypack transmitters - practically anything. Deity has tested it with a dozen DSLR models, two dozen cell phones, a handful of Android-based tablets and the microphone inputs of laptops. When connected to devices that have a stereo microphone input, the V-Mic D3 Pro outputs two mono tracks.
Deity offers a compatibility list on their website for more information.

Revolutionary design
The D3 Pro is the world's first microphone with a stepless analog gain control that goes beyond the expectations of an on-camera microphone. This gives you the ability to build an audio mixer directly into the microphone without adding bulk or weight. The +20 dB gain is added on a linear scale, so you can dial in the exact gain you need for each shot.

With the stepless +20 dB gain control, DSLR users finally get a gain control without having to click through menus. It's like having an audio mixer built into a microphone.
The intelligent 3.5 mm TRRS output with automatic adjustment adapts to almost any type of 3.5 mm TS, TRS or TRRS microphone input you connect here. This allows the V-Mic D3 Pro to be connected to DSLRs, point-and-shoot cameras, camcorders, action cameras, smartphones and tablets. And with the D-XLR, the Deity V-Mic D3 Pro can also be connected to larger cameras or audio recorders that have XLR audio inputs.

Ergonomic bump protection
The revolutionary stepless gain control has been adopted by other manufacturers, but none have gone so far as to offer the security that bump protection provides. The last thing you want to worry about on set is your audio levels changing abruptly without you realizing it.

The included Rycote adjustable shock mount features an adjustable, sliding cold-shoe. This allows you to move the mount forward and backward if you need to adjust for the camera operator or other accessories, or to balance the device on a gimbal. The Cold Shoe mount also features a 3/8 inch thread and a 3/8 inch to 1/4 inch adapter, so you can use it with a whole range of accessories already on the market. As the microphone consists of a single tube, you can treat it like any other microphone.

40% more battery life
Inside the V-Mic D3 Pro is a 320 mAh lithium-ion battery. Its runtime of 51 hours is an impressive 40% increase over the battery life of the competition. A full charge via USB-C is possible in less than 2 hours and you're ready to go.
