Godox Compact directional microphone with Type-C connector
For vloggers, live streamers, videographers and mobile journalists looking for a space-saving microphone with higher sound quality than the built-in microphones in mobile devices, the Godox Geniusmic UC is an ultra-compact and affordable solution. This miniature condenser microphone plugs directly into the USB Type-C port on your phone or tablet, eliminating the need for an external cradle or cable. It has its own headphone output on the back of the microphone, so you can conveniently check your input signal or play back the sound through earphones or studio headphones.

Because the Genius UC is powered via USB (no battery required) and has no controls to adjust the microphone, it is simple and user-friendly to operate for different experience levels. The aluminum housing ensures durability, light weight and effective resistance to interruption from RF sources. By using a directional pattern, less off-axis noise, e.g. from the environment, is picked up by the microphone. The included foam windscreen and fur-trimmed windscreen ensure recordings with less wind noise, whether you are recording indoors or outdoors.

The Geniusmic UC is only 8 cm long and weighs just 42.5 g. This makes it a handy device that you can use together with your smartphone or tablet. The robust aluminum construction protects against RF interference. There is no need to change the battery as the Geniusmic is powered via USB. Record quickly and never miss an important moment. With the 3.5 mm headphone output on the back of the microphone, you always have the option to check or listen to the input signals while the microphone remains connected to your mobile device.
