A Rollei quick release plate is the tripod accessory that connects your camera to the tripod head. For maximum ease of use, you should have a quick-release plate for each device. They are small and lightweight, so they can stay mounted all the time without getting in the way. Then, with just a flick of the wrist, you click them into the tripod head and switch back to freehand photography just as quickly.

Convenient use of your tripod quick-release plate
You are already taking advantage of the possibilities for long exposures, precise image composition in macro photography or panoramas with a Rollei tripod and the FPH 62Q or T3 S tripod head? Expand your equipment with the set of two QAL-50 quick-release plates. Equip your second camera or camcorder for video shooting with the coupling plates and you can use your equipment for creative image composition or professional video panning from the tripod at any time.

Simply screw the QAL-50 interchangeable plate under the camera. It fits anywhere you have a standardized 1/4 inch diameter thread available. You don't need any tools for mounting, because the tripod screw in the plate has a practical bracket with which you can simply tighten the screw by hand. Alternatively, a coin or wrench can be used to tighten it. The quick release plate has four rubber inserts on the camera side. This prevents the camera from twisting, even if it is equipped with a heavy Lens or you want to take pictures in portrait format. In order to be able to position the plate optimally under the body, the screw can be moved in the direction of the lens before tightening. The position of the plate can thus be flexibly adjusted to the position of the thread in the camera.

Using accessories with tripod thread
If you have several tripods and heads at your disposal, take a look at which accessories of your photographic equipment can be placed on a tripod - possibly via an adapter. With several flashes, you can achieve studio-like lighting effects, and with an external monitor, you have image composition and focusing safely under control.
