The iris is new on all MK2 lenses and now has 9 rounded blades. This creates beautiful round highlights in the bokeh or 18-ray sun stars. All lenses are coated with Samyang's own Ultra Multi Coating (UMC), which prevents aberrations, ghosting and lens flares. They all have a resolution of over 8K and offer a full-frame image circle. The proven optical design of the first generation has been retained. The lens hood is removable on almost all lenses, only the 14mm/T3.1 has a fixed lens hood.
The compact design and low weight of the lenses make them particularly suitable for use on drones, gimbals, car mounts, action shots and handheld cameras. Thanks to the close focusing distance of the individual lenses, you can also use them in tight situations without any problems.
Ready for follow focus
Change the lenses in no time at all! The gear rims for focus and aperture on the Samyang MK2 series of video lenses are positioned uniformly so that you practically don't have to change anything. The focus travel of 139° to 250° (depending on the lens) and the aperture travel of 36° to 48° (depending on the lens) allow you to make the finest adjustments.
Proven set
The lenses are supplied in their individual packaging, along with the Mantona Outdoor protective case L (item number 18509) with matching inlay (item number 20616). This custom-fit foam inlay offers you 6 compartments for the safe storage of your Lens. You can remove the middle section to create additional space for other equipment. The case is waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and has eyelets for a padlock. A pressure equalization valve ensures safety when travelling by air or on high mountains. The case also comes with four foam inlays that you can cut to size.
With this Samyang VDSLR MK2 lens set including storage and transport case, you are well equipped for every shoot and the journey there.
